Work Remotely With Library Resources

Even though classes are online and the library building is closed, we want to highlight ways that you can work remotely and use library resources from home.

Kirk Library has internet hotspots and laptops to check out. These can be checked out through the Bookstore. We anticipating a growing demand, and have number of new hotspots and laptops on their way to us.

Getting Library and Research Help Online

We can answer your questions and offer support in the following ways:

  • Email Kirk Library - we'll connect you with the best person to answer your question and give you support
  • 24/7 Chat
  • Online Meetings through WebEx, Zoom, FaceTime, or Google Hangouts - email to arrange a time
  • Library Staff Directory - to get in touch with someone specific

Doing Research Online

Did you know that most of our research materials are available online? Use OneSearch or a specialized research database to find great sources of information for your assignments.

When off-campus, start your search from those pages, or the Kirk Library homepage. Subscription materials will prompt you to login with your Centralia College ID number and last name.
